笔者在分析对比了传统分类法和主题法与网络分类法和主题法在组织网络信息资源的优缺点后,提出采用统一的网络信息分类法、建立后控词表、运用分类主题一体化组织法等方法来组织网络信息资源可以极大改善现有搜索引擎的检索效率;运用元数据法对网络信息资源进行编目,创建主题网关也是组织网络信息资源的一种有效方法,并对marc格式的元数据和dc格式的元数据加以详细的介绍。
